Nan is a Pacific Northwest mom, nurse, cancer survivor, knitter, volunteer
and all-around wonderful person.  I met her after she asked for knitters and
crocheters to help make things like chemo caps.  I'm sponsoring this page
because I admire her and I've gotten involved with her very worthwhile,
industrious and GROWING group of volunteers.
Nan's Ribbon
Many, many thanks to all of you wonderful stitchers who have embroidered Nan's Ribbon
and sent her one or more sheets of the ribbons.  These are being made into pins and sold
in yarn shops in Washington State as a fund raiser for Nan's Community Yarn Creations.
YOU ARE HELPING A GREAT CAUSE!
Get involved!  See instructions below.
Nan's Ribbon
See the awareness colors.
Pink, lavender, purple, yellow.
The yellow can be changed to teal if you or a loved
one has been touched by ovarian cancer.
Download your preferred
format (below the photo of the
ribbon). Open the txt file for
full instructions. Stitch on pink
felt with a medium tear-away
stabilizer. ("Cheap" felt works
fine!)
There's no need to trim the
ribbons.  Trimming the jump
threads would be appreciated,
but not necessary.
Send the whole, uncut sheet
to Nan at the address
contained in the txt file.

I'm very sorry to have to say that Nan is not doing well.  The
link above is to her blog, which her family is now maintaining.
Nan and her family can use all the prayers you send.
Blessings to you all.
As Nan says, "Do small things with love."
